An organisation in Romania has come up with an interesting approach to driver training as this article explains. Google streetview is incorporated in the test which students can take to prepare for the practical driving test. It allows people to 'practice' driving on the road, look around for hazards, and answer questions about real-life situations. We already know that higher-level skills training is better than manual car-handling skills training, so we like this novel approach.
